Depositio Tropica is the first design in the Opus Botanica silk scarf collection.
Originally created as a detailed watercolor illustration, the artwork brings together exotic fruits, flowers, botanical forms, and symbolic ornament in a richly layered composition inspired by imaginary botanical manuscripts.
The Pearl Edition presents the design in its lightest and most delicate form. Set against a soft pearl-grey background, the botanical motifs appear luminous and airy, highlighting the ornamental structure of the composition and its subtle details.
Printed on 100% natural silk, this 90 × 90 cm scarf can be worn as an elegant accessory, draped as a shawl, or appreciated as a collectible textile artwork.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Depositio Tropica is the inaugural design of the Opus Botanica collection — a visual exploration of botanical imagination, ornament, and transformation.
Created as an original watercolor painting, the artwork brings together exotic fruits, flowers, botanical structures, and symbolic forms in a layered composition inspired by historical botanical manuscripts, natural history collections, and imagined gardens.
The Pearl Edition presents the artwork through a delicate palette of soft ivories, pale botanical tones, and subtle contrasts, creating an elegant and contemplative interpretation of the original composition.
Each scarf preserves the complexity and atmosphere of the original hand-painted artwork while transforming it into a wearable piece of art.
